D.A for State Govt Employees has enhanced to 54.784%, G.O.136,dt.11.6.13 Released!

State Government vide G.O.Ms.No.136,Finance(PC.I)Department,dt.11.06.2013 has enhanced the Dearness allowance (D.A) to State Govt employees from 47.936% to 54.784% with effect from 1st January,2013.

The D.A arrears from 1st January,2013 to 30th April,2013 shall be credited to the PF accounts.
The D.A sanctioned shall be paid in Cash with the salary of May,2013 payable in June,2013.

U.T.F. round table meeting on School Education

U.T.F. Anantapur dist unit has convened a round table meeting with civil organisations, student unions, other teacher&employee unions in Press club,Anantapur. That meeting made following demands to the Govt. regarding Govt.Schools in our state.

 > Text books & uniforms should be supplied by reopening of schools
> Closure of schools should be withdrawn
> Schools should be supported with necessary infrastructure
> DSC-2013 should be immediately announced to ensure filliing of vacancies
> Posts of Monitoring officials should be immediately filled
> Govt. shall take steps to ensure teacher for every class in Primary schools
> Commercialisation of Education should be avoided

UGC Clarification on Vinayaka Mission Deemed University status in Andhra Pradesh

University Grants Commission (UGC) vide F.No.7-5-2013(CRP-1/DU), dt.26.02.2013 has issued clarification that UGC has not permitted the Vinayaka Mission Deemed University, Salem, Tamilnadu to run Study Centres in Andhra Pradesh.

The Director of School Education, Hyderabad in Proc.Rc.No.1485/D3-1/2013, dt.04.06.2013 has instructed  DEOs of 14 districts that in Teacherless schools DSC 2012 teachers may be deputed for working arrangement, duly assessing their need in the current school. These orders have been sent to the DEOs of Srikakulam, Visakhapatnamm, East godavari, Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur, Chittoor, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nizamabad, Rangareddy, Hyderabad.

U.T.F. represented the Regional Manager, State Bank of India, Anantapur regarding enhancement of Personal Loans to Teachers

U.T.F. Dist.President K.Nagendra, Gen.Secretary N.Vijayabhaskar, State council member C.K.Nagendra babu, Dist.Secretary V.Koteswarappa, Leaders B.Ramakrishna, N.Venkatesh, B.Ahobilesu met the Regional Manager, State Bank of India in Anantapur and represented to enhance the amount of Personal Loan by 24times to that of Basic pay and stated that Teachers are being discriminated by giving Personal Loans by 6times to their Basic pay.

The SPD,RVM(SSA),Hyd vide Circular No.355/RVM(SSA)/C8/2013,dt.27.05.2013 has issued instructions to conduct Education fortnight during 2013-14 for strengthening Government schools in 3 phases.
1) 1st Phase : Pre-school opening activites from 1st June to 11th June, 2013
2) 2nd Phase : After 12th June up to 20th June,2013 and soon after opening  
                       of schools 
3) 3rd Phase : Vidya sadassulu to be organised at Regional level in the state
                      ( dates will be intimated later )

G.O.124,dt.24.5.13, No need to submit proposals for enhancement for APGLI policies

Government vide G.O.Ms.No.124,Finance(Admn.II)Department,dt.24.05.2013 has issued instructions that there is no need to submit proposals for enhancement of APGLI policies. The information given by the DDOs is enough 
for enhancement of policies. However, in respect of Fresh insurance and in the cases where the premium is more than the compulsory slab then, Proposal forms should be submitted.

U.T.F represented DEO,Anantapuram to take action for payment of salaries reg. RVM posts shown in the Transfer counseling

As per G.O.43,dt.23.2.13, 688 SGT posts have been alloted to our Anantapuram dist., and these were shown as vacancies in the Transfer counseling. Hence, Teachers have chosen these places in the counseling. However, for payment of salaries to these posts, Education department has to send cadre strengh particulars to the Dist. Treasury officials. U.T.F Dist. Hon.President S.Md.Zeelan, Dist.President K.Nagendra, Dist.Gen.Sec.., N.Vijaya bhaskar, State Council Member C.K.Nagendra babu  have represented the DEO,Anantapur to take immediate action to solve the above problem.
