Govt enhanced rate of interest at 8.6% on GPF / APGLI w.e.f 01.12.2011

Government vide G.O.Rt.No.2425,Finance(Pen-II)Dept.,dt.10.05.2012 has
enhanced the Rate of interest from 8% to 8.6% per annum w.e.f. 01.12.2011 on the following Provident Funds on par with the rates of Government of India until further orders. 
         1)   The General Provident Fund (Andhra Pradesh) Rules, 1935.
         2)   The Electricity Department Provident Fund Rules.
         3)   Emergency Cut and Compulsory Saving Rules, 1949.
         4)   Government Distilleries Employees Provident Fund.

 RMSA (APSES) is going to start Model schools in English Medium from classes VI to XII in the Educationally Backward Mandals to provide Quality Education.  Admissions will be provided in Class VI to VIII and XI (with MPC/BPC/CEC/MEC groups) @80 students per class during   2012-13.In these institutions Education will be provided free of cost. In due course of time Hostel facility will be provided for deserving 100 Girl students in the campus.   Registration forms will be made available in all the High Schools, Upper Primary and Primary Schools of the Mandal through Mandal Education Officer of designated Educationally Backward Mandal..

Step Up after availing Automatic Advancement Scheme & F.R.22-B,Clarification Cir.Memo.No.5465,dt.14.3.12 Issued

Finance Department vide its Circular Memo No.5465/48/A2/PC.I/2011, dt.14.03.2012 has clarified that the Pay of the Senior should be Stepped up with effect from the Date of Promotion of the Junior to a figure equal to the Pay as fixed for the Junior in the Higher Post to which he is promoted in the Revised Pay Scales, 2010 on or after 01.07.2008.

The State Project Director, RVM, Hyd vide RC.No.170/B7/RVM(SSA)/2010, dt.20.03.2012 has stated that the committee appointed to revise Elementary Cycle from Classes I to VIII has submitted its report to Government. The Committee has suggested for inclusion of VIII class in the Upper Primary School where the strength in VI and VII classes is 40 and more no Upper Primary school or High school exist within a radius of 3 kms from the proposed  Upper Primary school. Further, the SPD,RVM,Hyd has requested the DEOs to furnish the list of Upper primary schools  which fulfill the above criteria in the enclosed proforma by 29-3-2012 for taking necessary action.

G.O.No.82,dt.29.3.12 The Period of Sakala Janula Samme of Telangana Employees treated as Earned Leave

Government vide G.O.Ms.No.82,Finance(F.R-I)Department,dt.29.03.2012 has issued orders that the period of Sakala Janula Samme of Telangana Employees (maximum 42days) will be treated as Earned Leave . It is ordered that the period of absence from 13-09-2011 or such later date as applicable till they   resumed duties after ending the strike be sanctioned as Earned Leave on   application by the employee. Where employees do not have adequate Earned   Leave in their account the earned leave available will first be exhausted and the shortfall will be considered for sanction as E.L. to be earned. This period shall   be adjusted from the future credit of Earned Leave for that employee. Only in case of employees retiring within the next one year w.e.f 24-10-2011, if such employees do not have adequate Earned Leave in their account, any eligible  leave be considered for sanction after exhausting the available Earned Leave.
